Description:

ENTEK is seeking applications for a IT Project Manager role to join us on-site at our Henderson, Nevada location (relocation within 40 miles of Henderson is required).

As an IT Project Manager, you will work closely with the Information Systems Security (InfoSec) and infrastructure groups to accomplish our mission; ENTEK's Global Information Technology Department will be a strategic business partner, delivering best in class customer service and solutions by fostering cross-team collaboration to ensure the efficiency, reliability, scalability, and security of business operations, surpassing the expectations of both our internal and external customers.

You will also plan, organize, and manage staff to drive innovation within overall operations to ensure the future flexibility and stability of ENTEK's IT infrastructure and cyber security. This includes creating strategic roadmaps, developing, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing key functional areas such as network and server infrastructure, data communications, and telecommunications systems.

Duties may include:

  • Lead and manage project resources and scope.
  • Oversee multiple cross-functional projects.
  • Establish and monitor project KPIs.
  • Manage team and client expectations.
  • Track progress, mitigate risks, and manage deliverables.
  • Define and manage project backlogs.
  • Collaborate with consulting leads and architects.
  • Direct project teams using agile methodologies.
  • Address customer satisfaction concerns.
  • Monitor invoicing and ensure accurate billing.
  • Conduct cutover plans and project closeout.
  • Contribute to project improvements and best practices.
  • Engage with stakeholders and third-party vendors.
  • Ensure timely resolution of customer concerns.
  • Maintain quality and adherence to project practices.
  • Provide routine status reports.
  • Perform high-quality work independently.
  • Follow Lean manufacturing practices.
Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or 5 years related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years of experience managing and delivering IT Projects and operational excellence.
  • 5 years of successful leadership of cross functional teams.
  • Training in Project Management or experience managing IT projects from beginning to end using agile methodologies.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference
  • Network, infrastructure, and/or project management-related certifications.
  • Experience planning and delivering projects moving software from on-premises to the cloud.
  • Experience working in a collaborative team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent written and spoken English, communication, and presentation skill.
  • Expert knowledge of IT processes and familiarity with IT systems.
  • Strong customer service orientation · Strong leadership and personnel/project management skills.
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction and supervision.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Ability to be resourceful, conduct research into issues and products, prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment, and make sound decisions in emergency situations.
  • Professional understanding of Microsoft Office tools.
  • Broad understanding of technical solution components (i.e. Windows operating systems, networks, application server, data base server, remote access tools, and file delivery solutions within information technology.
  • Satisfactory results from a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Satisfactory results from a pre-employment background check.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project management, network, infrastructure certifications
  • Experience leading projects using Azure DevOps, Sprints, Kanban boards, and the use of agile methodology

Working Environment

The hours for this role are Monday-Friday starting at 7:00 am.

This role is in an office setting and frequently requires sitting, working at a computer, hearing, reaching, and completing tasks that require use of hands and fingers for extended periods of time. The incumbent will occasionally be required to stand, walk, and may occasionally need to kneel, crouch, and climb stairs. If this role requires visiting the plant and/or shop floors, wearing eye and hearing protection will be required. The role requires specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
