Senior Construction Project Manager - RESIDENTIAL JAG Development is a thriving general contractor committed to delivering excellence in residential, commercial, and public works projects. Our Commercial Division strives to bring a trusted and distinguished presence to commercial construction projects in Las Vegas and Henderson. Position Overview:We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Residential Division team in Henderson, NV. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in managing custom residential builds. This role requires expertise in effectively coordinating subcontractors, managing project schedules, driving outcomes to budget, including project buyouts and subcontractor awards, and most importantly - managing client and management expectations. Duties and Responsibilities:
  • The Project Manager must possess an in-depth understanding of construction procedures and principles, inspection requirements, and industry standards. He/she is responsible for pre-construction planning such as reviewing all building plans; civil, architectural, structural, MEP’s and truss calcs for accuracy and can identify potential challenges and provide solutions.
  • This role requires excellent skills in organization, time management, communication, and negotiations and provides a strong resource for the entire project team to achieve targeted results.The Project Manager is responsible for establishing the schedule and working with accounting to develop a budget and for ultimately ensuring all deadlines and budgetary restraints are met.  
  • At a minimum, intermediate computer skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Adobe®, and DropBox is required.  Experience in AutoCAD® and/or PlanSwift® software is preferred. Plus, the ability to learn the company’s construction management software; BuilderTrend.
  • All project teams must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously at various stages of development. Communication between the project manager, project manager assistant, selections coordinator, superintendent, subcontractors, vendors, and client/owner are critical to managing the scope of the contract and the general conditions of the project.
  • Schedule impacts that arise due to a variety of factors should be communicated to all parties affected as soon as known, as well as any cost estimate issues that develop throughout the course of the project.
 Essential Duties:
  • Efficiently manage schedules for subcontractors, ensuring timely project completion.
  • Proactively address and resolve any scheduling challenges that may arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Take a lead role in managing project budgets, ensuring financial goals are met and costs are controlled.
  • Oversee budgetary aspects related to project buy-outs and subcontractor awards.
  • Effectively coordinate and communicate with subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Manage the selection process for subcontractors, including buyouts and awarding contracts.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans aligned with project objectives.
  • Ensure seamless execution of projects from inception to completion.
  • Implement robust quality control measures to uphold the highest standards of construction.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry regulations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing transparent and regular updates on project progress.
  • Address client concerns and maintain a strong focus on overall client satisfaction while demonstrating JAG core values.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience as a Project Manager in luxury residential new construction.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, budget management, and subcontractor coordination.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Adobe, and Dropbox
  • Must have OSHA 30 card.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Must work well with a team and know how to delegate effectively.
  • Reliable transportation and clean driving record.
