Etezazi Industries Inc., is seeking a Quality Inspector to assist and support Business Operations. Candidates must meet the job requirements and fully complete the application to be considered for the position.

Job Description

Position Objective

This position ensures the quality of products through thorough assessment and analyses using specific procedural standards for integrity.

Essential Functions

  • Performs inspections of company products to determine conformance with specifications.
  • Utilizes precision measurement equipment.
  • Processes associated documentation, including process tags, rework tags and non-conforming material documents.
  • Works under direct supervision and in accordance with instructions and techniques.
  • Performs inspections, as well as In-Process, Receiving and Final inspections of parts and assemblies in accordance with applicable Engineering criteria, documents and drawings.
  • Create and Complete First Article Inspection Reports per customer’s requirements.
  • Performs inspections using coordinate measuring machine (CMM).
  • Performs functional testing of assemble units.
  • Coordinates calibration activities and maintain records of various tools, instruments and gauges used for Product acceptance or Verification/Validation.
  • Assists Engineering and Operations in the investigation of non-conformities.
  • Maintains a safe and clean work environment by following guidelines and procedures, and complying with all applicable regulations.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and manufacturing sites can be loud. Requires wearing appropriate PPE in certain areas of the workplace.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Eyesight correctable to 20/20 is required.

Position Type

Full-Time, Permanent

Expected Core Hours/Days of Work

Expected core hours of work are 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel

Occasional travel—primarily local during the business day.

Required Education/Experience

Requirements may be waved at the discretion of the CEO.

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • A minimum of 18 months of inspection experience in a Aerospace manufacturing environment.
  • Training in general safety, foreign object damage awareness and quality system awareness.
  • Experience with precision measurement equipment (calipers, micrometer, height gauge, etc.).
  • Familiarity with reading blueprints and Understanding of GD&T
  • Working knowledge of MS Office.

Preferred Education/Experience

  • Proven experience as quality inspector or relevant role.
  • Familiarity with quality testing machines and systems.
  • Thorough knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies.
  • Certification of quality control is a strong advantage (ISO 9000 etc.)
  • Training in electrostatic discharge awareness.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

Relevant training certifications in industry topics helpful.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance

Must qualify for EAR, ITAR clearances, and or/be a U.S. person.
