The Health and Clinical Engagement division provides valuable health and wellness services to help people maximize their health and quality of life. Primary Responsibilities

The Clinical Account Consultant position is responsible for providing clinical liaison support to the account management team as part of the acquisition of new business and the retention, maintenance, and growth of existing business. The Clinical Account Consultant is also responsible for providing a consultative approach with clients to maximize clinical effectiveness and member experience. The Clinical Account Consultant serves as a primary point of contact for Sales and Marketing departments, specific to presentations for existing and prospective clients, and questions regarding health related programs and services. The Clinical Account Consultant collaborates with the client to identify clinical interventions and develop strategies necessary to positively impact member health and manage healthcare costs. It is critical the Clinical Account Consultant not only understand the clinical opportunities of the client, but also possess skills necessary to effectively promote clinical solutions based on data and available tools. The Clinical Account Consultant also displays interest and aptitude in keeping abreast of the latest developments in clinical management, across the healthcare continuum, and contributing to the evaluation/development of new tools and approaches.

Summary of Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, Communications, Nursing, or other related field in business or clinical disciplines
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience, with exposure to care management, sales or consultant services
  • Experience using strategic thinking skills, developing ideas, formulating strategies and approaches to support client needs
  • Project management experience including development, implementation and follow-up
  • High degree of professionalism and integrity to work well in a team environment
  • Highly developed written and oral communications skills
  • Proven experience effectively presenting to small and large audiences, in order to do so as part of sales acquisition and retention
  • Interest and aptitude in keeping abreast of the latest developments in health management and contributing to the evaluation/development of new tools and approaches
  • Experience in a position consulting clients, facilitating meetings, and utilizing problem solving skills
  • Experience analyzing data to identify root cause and evaluate/measures performance
  • Willingness to travel frequently to both local and national accounts, including overnight travel
  • Current and active license/certification/advanced degree such as Registered Nurse, Pharm.D., etc. preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
  • Experience in the healthcare industry, with strong preference in managing, developing or delivering behavior change or health improvement intervention preferred Consulting experience in the healthcare industry preferred
