Cumplir con las tareas de apertura y cierre, como organizar las provisiones y los instrumentos necesarios, limpiar todo el equipo y las áreas, cerrar las puertas con llave, etc. Organizar, abastecer y mantener las áreas de trabajo. Ingresar los pedidos en el sistema de la caja registradora y obtener los pagos de los clientes. Tomar los pedidos, ingresarlos en el sistema MICROS y preparar comida y café. Asegurarse de que los electrodomésticos (p. ej. las cafeteras) sean encendidos y apagados a la hora apropiada. Limpiar las mesas y las áreas de las mesas rodantes para el café. Mantener limpios los platos, los utensilios, las áreas de trabajo, las mesas y los equipos a lo largo de todo el día. Conseguir el cambio necesario para el nivel de transacciones esperado. Computar la caja al final del turno, completar los informes del cajero designado, resolver cualquier discrepancia, entregar los recibos y asegurar la caja.

Cumplir con todas las políticas y procedimientos de seguridad de la compañía; informar cualquier problema de mantenimiento, peligros para la seguridad, accidentes o lesiones; completar la capacitación y certificaciones sobre seguridad. Asegurarse de que tanto el uniforme como la apariencia personal sean pulcros y profesionales. Mantener la privacidad de la información propiedad de la compañía; proteger sus bienes. Apoyar a todos los compañeros de trabajo y tratarlos con dignidad y respeto. Dar apoyo al equipo para alcanzar metas comunes. Cumplir las expectativas y los estándares de aseguramiento de la calidad. Mover, levantar, transportar, empujar, arrastrar y colocar objetos con un peso inferior a 25 libras (11,25 Kg) o su equivalente sin asistencia. Estar de pie, sentarse o caminar durante períodos prolongados o durante el turno de trabajo completo. Leer y verificar visualmente información en varios formatos (por ejemplo, las letras menudas). Inspeccionar visualmente herramientas, equipos o máquinas (por ejemplo, para identificar defectos). Agarrar, dar vuelta y manipular objetos de varios tamaños y pesos, lo que requiere habilidades motrices finas y buena coordinación entre las manos y los ojos. Alcanzar por encima de la cabeza y debajo de la rodillas, incluso agacharse, girar la cintura, arrastrar e inclinarse. Moverse por espacios angostos, confinados o elevados. Subir y bajar escalinastas y/o rampas de servicio. Acoger y reconocer a todos los huéspedes de acuerdo con las normas de la compañía. Hablar con otras personas usando un lenguaje claro y profesional; contestar las llamadas telefónicas usando la etiqueta apropiada. Efectuar otras tareas de trabajo razonables solicitadas por sus supervisores.
