Position Overview:

As the Knowledge Manager, you will lead a small, passionate team to design, maintain, and optimize EforAll's knowledge management systems. Leveraging leading-edge technologies, you will work cross-functionally to ensure efficient use of data and processes that empower decision-making across the organization. This role combines technical expertise, project management skills, and a commitment to fostering team development to enhance organizational success.

Essential Functions:

  • Identify, track, and continuously improve organization-wide knowledge systems.
  • Oversee the design and implementation of data solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
  • Lead the development of reports and interactive dashboards to visualize key metrics.
  • Ensure the accuracy and usability of data tools to support decision-making.
  • Plan, prioritize, and manage multiple technical projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery of key initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Monitor progress, resolve issues, and communicate updates to relevant parties.
  • Manage the professional development of team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to support team success.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, clarify needs, and translate them into actionable solutions.
  • Provide feedback and propose technological enhancements to align with organizational goals.
  • Offer technical support to EforAll staff, including triaging and resolving system issues.
  • Scope and track system defects and oversee their resolution.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience developing and managing knowledge systems.
  • 2+ years of experience managing projects with technical deliverables.
  • 2+ years of hands-on expertise with SQL and query plan analysis; experience with MySQL is a plus..
  • 2+ years of experience leading and managing a technical team.
  • Strong project management and problem solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a strong emphasis on cultural competency and the ability to effectively communicate across diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and well-organized, with a demonstrated capacity to navigate cross-cultural environments and foster inclusive spaces.
  • Self-starter with a growth mindset and the ability to influence and inspire others.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Expertise in data modeling and database architecture.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as D3.js or Observable Plot.
  • Familiarity with AI and machine learning model implementation.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer information systems or related field, or equivalent experience.
