Position is located at 3120 S Western Ave Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Position requires availability Monday through Thursday 8:30 am to 5:15 pm, Friday 8:30 am to 6:15 pm and rotating Saturdays 8:30 am to 1:15 pm.

Bilingual in English/Spanish required.

Job Title: Relationship Banker

The Relationship Banker will primarily focus on product sales and exceptional customer service. The associate develops new customer relationships and strengthens existing relationships by ensuring each customer understands and receives appropriate products and services to meet their financial needs. The role involves providing expert product advice, clear directions on using self-service banking solutions, and managing account servicing and problem resolution according to established procedures and regulations. This is a leveled position, beginning with entry Level 1 and advancing to Level 3, with potential for advancement to a Relationship Banker 4 leadership position.

Job Levels
  • Level 1 - Training: The primary focus is training and development with a seasoned mentor. Progression to Level 2 depends on successful completion of all training.
  • Level 2 - Proficient: Works independently on routine tasks and with guidance on complex tasks. Demonstrates superior product knowledge and excellent needs-based selling skills. Advancement to Level 3 is based on demonstrated proficiency and recommendation from management.
  • Level 3 - Advanced: Demonstrates independent action and high initiative, resolves problems, develops recommendations, and mentors Level 1 associates.
What You Will Do at Arvest:
  • Contribute to achieving branch sales goals through a consultative sales approach, identifying customer financial needs and offering solutions.
  • Proactively make outbound calls to generate sales and strengthen customer relationships.
  • Identify opportunities to sell consumer loans, assist with applications and facilitate loan closings.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, address complaints, and follow established processes for customer satisfaction.
  • Open and process various types of deposit accounts.
  • Assist customers with questions and concerns regarding banking services.
  • Maintain knowledge of products, services, and competitors to effectively sell bank products.
  • Participate in branch promotions and marketing initiatives.
  • Apply bank standards, policies, and procedures regarding customer interactions.
  • Ensure compliance with bank policy, laws, regulations, and BSA/AML Program requirements.

Toolbox for Success:Level 1:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Current NMLS SAFE Act Registration or ability to register within 30 days required.
  • Sales and customer service experience preferred.
  • Financial service provider experience preferred.
Level 2:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Achievement of defined competencies of Level 1 required.
  • Current NMLS SAFE Act Registration or ability to register within 30 days required.
Level 3:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Successful achievement of defined competencies of Level 2 or relevant experience required.
  • Current NMLS SAFE Act Registration or ability to register within 30 days required.

Relevant military experience is considered for veterans and transitioning service members.

Physical Demands:
