As a Research Specialist I at ZoomInfo, you're at the forefront of maintaining the quality and accuracy of the company's B2B data offerings. Your ability to meticulously verify and update business information, ensure thorough coverage of companies and contacts, and implement rigorous quality control measures is essential. Your keen eye for detail and comfort with handling data are assets that contribute directly to ZoomInfo's reputation for excellence.


What You’ll Do:



  • Develop a foundational understanding of how ZoomInfo's data ecosystem functions. Gain deeper expertise in specific focus areas relevant to your role, ensuring a thorough grasp of the data and projects within those areas.
  • Utilize online resources and conduct phone-based research to gather information on companies and contacts. This involves verifying and updating details such as company profiles, employee information, contact details, and more.
  • Input collected data into ZoomInfo's system using various internal tools. Accurate and timely data entry is essential for maintaining the integrity and freshness of the database.
  • Undertake various research projects as assigned, which may include data cleanup initiatives, testing the health of data sets, and evaluating the performance of data models. These projects contribute to improving the overall quality and reliability of ZoomInfo's data offerings.

What You’ll Bring:



  • Associate’s degree in areas of market research, applied social sciences, economics, business or related field, or 2+ years of equivalent work experience
  • Some experience in a market research function focusing on secondary research a plus
  • Excellent computer and research skills; beginner skills in Google Sheets
  • Attention to details; ability to detect minor errors in data and make good decisions in ambiguous situations
  • Ability to establish priorities and work independently
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated and passionate to grow with the team

Below is the US base salary for this position. Additional compensation such as Bonus, Commission, Equity and other benefits may also apply.: $15.35 USD - $21.10 USD
