JOB PURPOSE:

The Lead Clinician provides a combination of program oversight, staff supervision, and direct service provision for Behavioral Health. This position delivers care virtually and provides expert clinical support to other providers and training clinicians. The role aligns with the Endeavors Wellness Model alongside the Director of Behavioral Health, ensuring compliance with established protocols and policies. Training and experience in treating serious mental illness and/or substance abuse recovery, particularly with Military Veterans and their dependents, are required.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide direct service and document the intake wellness assessment for clients as needed.
  • Complete treatment appropriate screenings, psychosocial assessments, treatment plans, and document progress in electronic health records.
  • Provide individual, couples, and family psychotherapy focused on evidence-based treatments and trauma-informed care.
  • Regularly meet with clinical providers to discuss caseloads and high-risk clients, and disseminate program information.
  • Develop training and development plans for clinical staff in collaboration with leadership.
  • Ensure quality assurance and regulatory compliance in client files, and contribute to ongoing program evaluations.
  • Prepare and submit monthly program reports and generate KPI and Outcome reports as needed.
  • Collaborate with other providers and interns to enhance client care.
  • Participate in administrative meetings with Behavioral Health and Endeavors Leadership.
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service by prioritizing the needs of clients and supporting the mission to empower communities.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:EDUCATION:

Masters degree in Social Work or Counseling.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of five years in a clinical setting required; two years of supervisory experience preferred. Experience with adults, couples, and families required; work with children and adolescents preferred. Knowledge of DSM-5 diagnoses and experience with serious mental illness and substance abuse treatment is necessary.

LICENSES:

Current license to practice as a Texas Social Worker or Professional Counselor, including the Supervisor credential (LCSW-S or LPC-S).

WORK LOCATION:

Hybrid work setup may be possible, requiring a secure home office for remote work.

VEHICLE:

Daily access to a vehicle and a valid driver's license are required.

OTHER:

Availability to travel as needed and work nights and weekends to meet business needs is required. Employees should expect to work one evening a week to accommodate client schedules.
