Join our team as a Procurement Specialist, where you'll focus on contract development, vendor management, and relationship building. Your responsibilities will include drafting and reviewing contracts, coordinating with legal counsel for review, tracking expirations, and ensuring timely renewals. You'll administer day-to-day tasks for the purchase card program, including ordering cards, adjusting transaction limits, and ensuring documentation compliance, while providing guidance to cardholders on policies and procedures. Additionally, you'll manage vendor relationships, support third-party risk management efforts, and perform administrative tasks like tracking contract expiration dates, requesting updated insurance certificates, and resolving invoice issues. You'll also assist users with navigating the purchasing system and submitting requisitions and approvals, offering one-on-one training when needed.

We're looking for candidates with:

  • High School Diploma or GED; Associates degree in a business-related field preferred; applicable work experience may be considered in lieu of higher education
  • 3 years of experience in purchasing, contracting, procurement or similar field; higher education may be considered in lieu of applicable work experience
  • Experience with contracts, including terms and conditions, reviewing, monitoring expiration dates and renewal processes
  • Demonstrated success in planning and organizing with high attention to detail is required
  • Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP) or other purchasing, contracting, or procurement certification is a plus
