Shift Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday 8:00a - 4:30p.

Weekly Pay: $23 - $24

Basic Functions Support Algoods core values by incorporating them in daily thoughts and actions.

The Replenishment Control Clerk is responsible for but not limited to inventory control duties at the main plant within Algood Food Company, working closely with Production on daily inventory needs and administrative tasks including creating pick tickets for packaging replenishment for production.

Organizational Relationships

Reports to: Receiving/Inventory/Replenishment Supervisor

Supervises: No direct reports

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Utilize the Portal and Warehouse Management System (WMS) to research inventory inaccuracies and report findings to appropriate personnel.
  • Create, validate and post Counting and Movement journals within the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
  • Regularly check the receiving location at the Production plant and trailer locations to reconcile any outstanding license plates.
  • Work with Production on license plate issues, production corrections, and inventory discrepancies.
  • Document inventory via Movement journals to dispose of damaged and consumed inventory.
  • Utilize the Portal and WMS to create product replenishment pick tickets for the Production Department and to create lists to send back to the Replenishment Warehouse once production is complete.
  • Work with Production Supervisors on production schedule, run rates and usage.
  • Coordinate weekly cycle counts for the production plant storage locations to ensure completion of all locations at least twice monthly.
  • Complete training associated with WMS and RF scanners.
  • Assist in scheduling production based on need and available inventory.
  • Assist with Return Materials Authorizations (RMAs) when needed.
  • Ensure working knowledge of Receiving Clerk duties.
  • Adhere to all GMP guidelines, Company policies, and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.

Working Environment and Conditions

This position requires working in a Production/Warehouse environment for inventory control and communicating with supervisors/employees. Must adhere to all GMP and PPE attire/rules.

Travel

This position requires less than 5% travel on an as needed basis.

Equipment and Tools

  • Computer, fax, copier, printer, and MS Programs
  • RF scanners and label printers as used with WMS.

Education, Experience, and Training
  • Requires a high school diploma or GED
  • 2-3 years of inventory related experience
  • Excellent data entry skills and MS Office knowledge and experience
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Dynamics D365 and the Portal
  • Must be able to operate a forklift.
