JOB SUMMARY:
To promote the mission of PATH to help individuals achieve a more independent and fulfilling life by being an effective team member. Responsible for supervision of Children's Mobile Intervention Services (CMIS) staff and services provided to families served in CMIS program in Northeast Philadelphia. CMIS provides short term, up to 6 weeks, crisis management and therapeutic services for children and their families. Such services include assessment, crisis intervention, parent education, brief resolution focused treatment and linkages to behavioral health and community services 365 days/year with staff providing direct response 7 days/week from 8:00am to 9:00pm
QUALIFCATIONS:
At minimum, a Master’s degree in the human services field from an accredited college or university.
At minimum, 2 years verified, paid, post-master’s therapy experience with children/youth and training and experience in family therapy.
Licensed LMFT, LCSW, LPC or Licensed Psychologist.
Valid Driver's License and personal vehicle required.
Excellent interpersonal and writing skills.
COVID-19 vaccination, or willingness to receive vaccine required.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
Provide weekly individual clinical supervision to assigned intervention specialists and case managers to ensure appropriate use of identified evidence based practices.
Join the intervention specialist during one of the initial 2 sessions with each family to assist with case formulation, treatment planning, implementation of interventions, conflict resolution and crisis management.
Ensure staff receives training in the norms, values of the variety of ethnic and cultural groups in Northeast Philadelphia and assist with any language linkages or resources needed to work effectively with youth and families.
Provide on call coverage on a rotating basis to provide support and guidance to staff during the hours of 9:00pm and 8:00am.
