*Job Summary*
We are actively always seeking a highly skilled and experienced *Pharmacist in Charge* to join our team. As the *Pharmacist in Charge*, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the pharmacy department and ensuring the safe and effective use of medications. Your expertise and leadership will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements.

*Responsibilities*
* Manage and supervise the pharmacy staff, including pharmacists, technicians, and support personnel
* Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations governing the practice of pharmacy
* Ensure accurate dispensing of medications and adherence to proper procedures while overseeing compounding and labeling processes
* Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
* Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care and medication therapy management
* Provide drug information to healthcare professionals and patients
* Conduct medication utilization reviews to identify opportunities for improvement
* Monitor patient outcomes and make recommendations for therapy adjustments as needed
* Participate in medical management activities, including formulary management and medication utilization reviews
* Maintain aseptic technique in sterile compounding areas
* Provide clinical support in acute care settings such as the emergency room (ER) and intensive care unit (ICU)
* Demonstrate proficiency in medical terminology and patient service
* Monitor medication inventory levels and order medications as needed
* Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

*Experience*
- A Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution is required.
- Active pharmacist license in good standing with the state board of pharmacy.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, physiology, and drug interactions

- Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, medication therapy management, and patient assessment techniques.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service and collaboration with healthcare teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $58.00 - $61.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
