Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative

Job Description:
Are you a compassionate and skilled phlebotomist looking for a rewarding career? Join our team as a Patient Services Representative II and make a positive impact on patients' lives.
As a PSR II, you will be responsible for:
Patient Care: Drawing quality blood samples, preparing specimens for testing, and creating a welcoming environment for patients.
Process Excellence: Adhering to established procedures, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining confidentiality.
Leadership: Demonstrating leadership behaviors and promoting a positive company image.
Required Skills:
Phlebotomy Expertise: Proven phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric patient care.
Customer Service: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with patients.
Flexibility: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing schedules.
Technical Proficiency: Experience with medical records, data entry, and computer systems.
Required Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Medical training (medical assistant or paramedic) preferred. Phlebotomy certification is preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
Experience: Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections. 2+ years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred. Customer service experience in a retail or service environment is preferred.
Additional Requirements:
Commute: Must have reliable transportation to get to/from the worksite without issue (bus, Uber, or rideshare is not reliable transportation).
Availability: Must be available to work whenever scheduled, be on time, and stay for the entire shift.
Attendance: Excessive absenteeism/tardiness is not tolerated and will be cause for termination.
