How you make a difference:

The Mental Health Clinician independently assesses individuals from a clinical and psychosocial perspective; provides group and individual therapeutic interventions and psychoeducation; makes professional judgments of clinical and psychosocial needs; and provides crisis assessment and intervention. This position is responsible for timely documentation of services that comply with legal, contractual, and regulatory requirements. The Mental Health Clinician is a member of the multidisciplinary team and may be responsible for treatment planning and discharge planning.

Key Responsibilities:
Provides individualized care and treatment consistent with age and life span development.
Delivers treatment to individuals and groups according to established performance standards.
Documents service delivery and progress within established standards and timeframes.
Conducts required assessments and provides crisis assessment and intervention services.
Participates in multidisciplinary teams and may handle treatment and discharge planning for assigned individuals.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education

Required: Master’s degree in mental health counseling, social work or marriage and family therapy.

Experience

Preferred: Two (2) years of experience with the population served.

Licenses/Certifications

Required: Licensed or license-eligible in the appropriate discipline.
