Accounting Admin II

This position is located in Prescott, AZ

We are in search of an Accounting Admin-II to work in our Prescott, AZ location. As an instrumental member of the accounting team, the Accounting Admin is responsible for compiling and maintaining accounts payable records to prepare invoices for payment and provide fixed asset support. The ideal candidate must be able to communicate effectively, and work collaboratively with all levels of associates and promote a productive and amicable work environment, while still efficiently meeting business needs. The individual must also be able to adhere to the Company’s core values of Integrity, Respect, Innovation and Teamwork.

Responsibilities:

Verify receiving reports against receiving documents daily. Directing those that need to make adjustments. Maintain weekly report of issues.

Data entry of Accounts Payable invoices into Oracle.

Matching, copying and filing Accounts Payable invoices, purchase orders and receivers.

Process daily Accounts Payable mail. Follow up of vendor statements.

Process bi-weekly check runs for mailing.

Maintenance of files and filing of Accounts Payable Vouchers on weekly basis.

Assist in maintenance of Fixed Assets Software.

Maintenance of files and filing of Fixed Asset Vouchers.

Accurately completes very detailed paperwork on a daily basis.

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education and/or Experience:

Minimum of six months accounts payable experience utilizing Oracle Software and able to perform 10‑key by touch. Must have a working knowledge of a Microsoft software required, i.e., Excel & Word.

Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to finger keys accurately when using computer keyboard, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand, stoop, kneel or crouch, and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and representative of an office environment.
