As an RN in our Mother-Baby Unit, you’ll work in labor and delivery and postpartum care. Responsibilities include providing exceptional patient care, educating families on newborn health, and supporting them in the first days after delivery. You’ll handle roughly 1,000 deliveries per year, adhering to AWHONN staffing standards and rooming babies in with their families. This role also includes procedures in the Well Baby Nursery.

*Key Responsibilities:*
* Deliver patient-centered care and follow physician orders.
* Educate patients and families on health practices for mother and baby.
* Provide labor, delivery, and postpartum care for pregnant women.
* Maintain a 1:3 nurse-to-patient couplet ratio.

*Requirements:*
* *Licensure:* Active Washington State RN License (or Compact RN License). Consideration given to candidates with a scheduled NCLEX exam.
* *Certifications:* AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Intermediate AWHONN-EFM required; open to working with candidates on additional certifications.
* *Experience:* Minimum 1 year of WIS (labor and post-labor) experience required.
* *Education:* ASN accepted; BSN preferred. Experience in a Level III Trauma Center a plus.

*Preferred Qualifications:*
* S.T.A.B.L.E. certification.
* RN-C certification.
* Ability to work in both Labor & Delivery and postpartum settings.

*Compensation and Benefits:*
* *Hourly Pay:* Starting at $36.64, up to $68.37 based on experience.
* *Sign-On Bonuses:* Up to $15,000 based on experience and position.
* *Retention and Referral Bonuses:* Up to 8% match in retirement contributions after one year, plus referral bonuses up to $1,500.
* *Relocation Reimbursement:* Up to $5,000, discussed during the interview.
* *Public Service Loan Forgiveness:* Samaritan qualifies under PSLF for debt forgiveness after 10 years of service.
