The Scheduler/Unit Secretary fills a variety of roles including assisting the Nurse Managers as requested, scheduling, assisting the household staff in recruiting and scheduling team members and in ordering and allocating medical supplies, assisting the HR team in processing payroll preparation, maintains the medical records storage system, and assumes receptionist duties as needed or requested. Is available to assist with resident care and household life to the extent of cross training and certification.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Basic competence in standard office procedures, typing, word processing and computer data entry. Must have functional knowledge or Microsoft Word and Excel. Competence in use of office machines such as fax, photocopier, and postal machines, and in performing minor maintenance of such machines. CNA or Med Tech certification highly desirable but not needed.

Ability to organization information efficiently and clearly and to keep written records such as logs, staff schedules, and tracking sheets Ability to conduct routine arithmetic calculations accurately and efficiently, as in computing payroll totals. Possesses the ability to multitask in an efficient manner. Ability to communicate messages accurately, with complete fluency in verbal and written English. This position also requires the ability to maintain confidentiality regarding staff and residents' personal information.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
