Location: Wayne, NJ
Work Type: Onsite, Shift/Time Zone: FT Monday - Friday w/ Rotational Weekends (7:00 am - 4:00 pm) 40 hours/week

We are seeking a highly motivated Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our dynamic team. As a Medical Laboratory Scientist, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate and timely laboratory results.

Key Responsibilities:
Specimen Processing: Efficiently process and analyze various biological specimens.
Test Performance: Conduct a wide range of laboratory tests, including clinical chemistry, hematology, microbiology, and immunology.
Quality Assurance: Maintain strict adherence to quality control procedures and regulatory standards (CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA).
Data Analysis: Analyze test results and interpret data to identify potential health issues.
Record Keeping: Accurately document all testing procedures and results.
Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on laboratory equipment.
Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot technical issues and implement corrective actions.

Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
Certification: ASCP or AMT certification.
Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in laboratory techniques, instrumentation, and computer systems.
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
Communication Skills: Effective communication skills to interact with healthcare professionals.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with specific laboratory equipment and software
Knowledge of laboratory information systems (LIS)
