Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative

Job Description:
Join our team as a Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative II and play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care. You will draw blood samples, prepare specimens for testing, and create a welcoming and trusting environment for patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately perform phlebotomy procedures on patients of all ages.
Prepare and process blood specimens for lab testing.
Adhere to established practices and procedures.
Maintain a safe and professional work environment.
Verify patient information and ensure accurate labeling.
Maintain required records and documentation.
Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive company image.
Work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Provide excellent customer service and build trust with patients.
Be flexible and available to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.
Adhere to company policies and procedures, including dress code and safety guidelines.
Make informed decisions based on established procedures and exercise good judgment.
Have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record.
Travel to multiple locations and work in various settings (Patient Service Centers, in-office phlebotomy).
Handle multiple priorities in a high-volume setting.
Demonstrate superior customer focus, open communication, adaptability to change, and knowledge of the business.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Medical training (medical assistant or paramedic) preferred.
Phlebotomy certification is preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
3+ years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
2+ years of experience in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
Customer service experience in a retail or service environment.
Keyboard/data entry experience.
Additional Requirements:
Must list home city on the resume.
Overlapping roles do not count twice.
Have reliable transportation to get to/from the worksite without issue (bus, Uber, and rideshare are not reliable transportation).
Be available to work whenever scheduled, be on time, and stay for the entire shift.
Excessive absenteeism/tardiness is not tolerated and will be cause for termination.
Ensure you are within a 20-25 minute commute window to the worksite.
