About Norman Regional Health System: We have emerged as a beacon of workplace excellence, with a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and operational excellence. Our state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower will feature three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms.
Our team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists works collaboratively to provide high-quality care. We are accredited by various organizations, including the American College of Cardiology Chest Pain Center with PCI and Resuscitation Accreditation, American College of Cardiology NCDR Registry Gold Award, Women's Choice Award in Heart Care, Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) Echo Accreditation, and American Association Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR) Accreditation.
Job Summary:
Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
Assess patient conditions, prepare, position, and provide patient care.
Maintain a sterile environment.
Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in the orientation of new staff.
Use downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks assigned by the Charge person or manager.
Develop strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
Qualifications and Requirements: To be successful in this role, you must possess relevant certifications and complete necessary training within six months of hire. This includes completing all competencies listed in department policy and maintaining current Basic Life Support certification.
You should be a graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program and have prior experience working in a Cath Lab. Registration as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCIS) is required. Additionally, Advanced Life Support certification must be achieved within six months of hire.
Compensation and Benefits: The salary range for this position is $27.84-$45.46 per hour, based on previous work experience.
