Job Description This role involves preparing equipment, identifying patient conditions, and maintaining a sterile environment.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a Cath Lab setting and be registered as a Radiographer or RCIS.
Responsibilities include:
Prepping equipment before and during procedures
Assessing patient condition and providing care
Maintaining a sterile environment
Serving as a preceptor for new staff and radiology students
Participating in downtime activities such as stocking rooms and checking equipment
Maintaining strong relationships with physicians and leadership
Required Skills and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should have:
An accredited Radiographic or Cardiovascular program certification
Relevant licensure to work in the Cath Lab
Previous Procedural Area experience preferred
BLS training or re-training required during orientation
Current BLS required to be maintained through re-training for duration of employment
ACLS training must be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained through duration of employment
