As a cardiovascular imaging technologist, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our innovative cardiovascular program.
About Norman Regional Health System We are a community hospital system nestled at the Southern border of the Oklahoma City metro area, renowned for our commitment to workplace excellence and innovative healthcare practices. Our state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower features three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms. We collaborate with a talented team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists to provide top-notch care.

About the Role This dynamic position involves preparing equipment before and during procedures while maintaining a sterile environment. You will identify and assess patient conditions, prepare patients for care, and establish effective working relationships with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals. Your expertise will also be utilized to serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students.
Key Responsibilities: Preparation and maintenance of equipment during cardiovascular procedures
Establishing and maintaining a sterile environment
Patient assessment and preparation for care
Collaboration with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
Orientating new staff members
Requirements To succeed in this challenging yet rewarding role, candidates should possess:
Radiologic Technology certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
RCIS certification preferred
BLS training or re-training required; ACLS training must be achieved within 6 months of hire
One year of experience in a Cath Lab setting is preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Compensation and Benefits Norman Regional Health System offers a competitive salary range of $27.84-$45.46 per hour based on prior work experience.
