Specialty Health Park Medical Center-AP-Physician-0059 State FL Location 9981 S HealthPark Dr Fort Meyers Florida 33908 Requirements Advanced Heart Failure Physician needed.Lee Health Heart Institute is currently seeking a Heart Failure Cardiologist with expertise and training in advanced heart failure, mechanical circulatory support and heart transplantation to join the Advanced Heart Failure Center at HealthPark Medical Center the Lee Health Heart Institute in Fort Myers, Florida. This is an integrated AHF cardiology and surgical program that provides high-quality, comprehensive care in all spectrums of diagnostic and therapeutic heart failure service.No implant LVAD at this time. The patients to be seen are advanced heart failure, cardiogenic shock and hear failure patients. In the clinic, the physician sees patients on their own. In hospital setting, most days an APP rounds with the physician but there are days (PTO and CME) than an APP is not present.Will be rounding on inpatient AHF service as well as ambulatory care of heart failure patients. 8-12 inpatient ; outpatient 2-4, 15 patients a day. Inpatient has intermittent inpatient APP, office has a customer service rep, MA, RN. No Call, no weekend call, must work onsite. NP support available inpatiant and outpatient most of the time. NO PROCEDURES.Schedule is monday through Friday/ monthly:Ambulatory hours M-F 8a-5pm; Inpatient hours M-F 8a-5pmLooking for ASAP starts to help 1 week per month.Qualified Candidates Should Be:BC/BE by the ABIM in Advanced Heart Failure/TransplantCompletion of an ACGME accredited heart failure fellowshipProficient in management of short-term mechanical support devices including Impella and ECMOMore than 5 years post-fellowship experience is preferredEager to work in a growing, high-volume practice and have excellent interpersonal skills.Effective communication skills in order to collaborate in a large multidisciplinary team approach to care.NPDB reports be no older than 3 months moving forward - NO REPORTS/CLEAR ONLYPractice Highlights:The practice is a strong, multidisciplinary team which provides comprehensive patient care with excellent outcomes in advanced heart failureWe do not perform heart transplantations; the group collaborates closely with four regional heart transplant referral centersAdvanced surgical treatment options include implantable heart devices, including percutaneous and surgical Impellas and ECMO Schedule Weekends, Days Dates Needed T00:00:0000:00 - Alumni Healthcare Staffing offers: Weekly Direct Deposits Travel and Lodging Provided if Needed A Rated Malpractice Coverage 24/7 Availability of your Recruiting Consultant & Credentialing Staff If you have availability for this job or are interested in other opportunities, please send an updated CV or contact me today.
