Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist Job Overview The Norman Regional Health System seeks a highly skilled Cardiovascular Imaging Technologist to join its esteemed team. This critical role is instrumental in delivering exceptional patient care and advancing the healthcare system's cardiovascular program.
Job Summary: Maintain and prepare complex imaging equipment for procedures, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
Assess patient conditions, providing compassionate care and facilitating smooth procedural execution.
Establish and maintain aseptic environments, guaranteeing the highest standards of patient safety.
Key Responsibilities: Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
Collaborate with physicians and leadership to enhance patient outcomes and optimize clinical workflows.
Participate in the orientation of new staff members, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence.
Requirements: Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) or hold RCIS certification.
One year of experience working in a Cath Lab setting preferred.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Life Support (ACLS) training must be achieved within six months of hire.
Compensation and Benefits: $27.84-$45.46 per hour based on previous work experience.
