We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Imaging Technologist to join our team at Norman Regional Health System. Located in the heart of Oklahoma, our hospital system is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and innovative healthcare services.

Norman Regional Health System is a community hospital system nestled at the Southern border of the Oklahoma City metro area. We have an innovative cardiovascular program and are committed to expanding our services to meet the needs of our patients.

Our state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower features three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms. We work closely with a team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

ResponsibilitiesJob Summary

The Cardiovascular Imaging Technologist will be responsible for preparing equipment before and during procedures. This role involves identifying and assessing patient condition, preparing and positioning patients for imaging, and maintaining a sterile environment.

Key Responsibilities

QualificationsRequirements
  • Completion of a 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology
  • Eligibility for American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) registration or current RCIS certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) training required during orientation
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire
