Senior Trader | Chicago / Puerto Rico / Switzerland (Remote Potential) Proprietary trading firm seeks senior traders with currently/consistently profitable strategies to join their collaborative team eliminating inefficiencies and managing risk in-person from one of three global office locations. They will also consider a remote hire, given the right situation. Open to a variety of strategies including corporate and government bonds, rates, and commodity futures/options, with particular interest at the moment in European corporate bonds. Must have a quantitative approach/mindset, proven success growing/managing a P&L, discipline, and excellent risk assessment/management skills. You will benefit from the firm's resources/robust capital base, allowing you to take your effective trading strategy to the next level. Responsibilities: Utilize expertise in relative value market fundamentals/quantitative modeling/risk management Build/maintain quantitative model tools and analytics; manage real-time execution of trading systems Collaborate with Senior Traders/Junior Traders to contribute to learning/strategies; mentor Junior Traders and promote their learning on the desk Requirements: 4+ years of experience trading or other relevant industry experience with verifiable track record of success Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in Financial Engineering/Statistics/Math/Computer Science/equivalent Strong counterparty relationships and experience using ECN/ATS's Demonstrated passion for financial markets/finance/trading; deep understanding of finance/math/statistics; attention to detail and ability to make sound judgments under pressure; strong work ethic/willingness to do what it takes to get the job done; ability to work in a fast-paced/collaborative environment Compensation package includes base of $150-175k, generous payouts and equity ownership potential for the right candidate.
