Today, Akuna operates additional offices in Sydney, Shanghai, London, and Singapore. What you'll do as a Broker Trader at Akuna: Support our team in expanding coverage and competing in the marketplace. Make markets on options for brokers and banks via chat and voice platforms. Represent marketplace opportunities in the team’s P&L. Learn our systems and trading style from experienced traders. Bring value from your previous experience while adapting to the role. Qualities of ideal candidates: 2+ years of options market-making experience. Entrepreneurial self-starter, team-oriented, and fast-paced. Strong mathematical skills for high-pressure trading. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to develop and maintain business relationships. Experience working with screen traders. Passion for problem-solving and market adaptation. VBA or Python skills are a plus. Existing relationships with inter-dealer or broker counterparts. Ability to react quickly to market changes and solve math/coding problems.
