Cardiovascular Technologist Role at Norman Regional Health System

We are seeking a skilled Registered Technologist to join our team and contribute to the expansion of our cardiovascular services. Our state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower will feature three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms.
Responsibilities: Prepare equipment before and during procedures, ensuring optimal functionality.
Evaluate patient conditions, providing tailored care and positioning patients appropriately.
Maintain a sterile environment, adhering to strict protocols.
Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, facilitating their integration into the team.
Utilize downtime effectively by restocking rooms, checking equipment, and completing delegated tasks assigned by Charge personnel or management.
Foster strong professional relationships with physicians and leadership to deliver exceptional patient care.
Requirements: Complete Cath Lab RT Orientation within six months.
Meet all departmental competencies listed in policy within six months.
Possess a 24-month formal Radiologic Technology program completion or military equivalent, with eligibility or current registration from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and/or RCIS certification.
Hold previous Procedural Area experience.
Hold Basic Life Support (BLS) training, with re-training required prior to patient care.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. A competitive salary range of $27.84-$45.46 per hour will be offered based on relevant work experience.
