Cardiovascular Imaging Specialist

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Imaging Specialist to join our team at Norman Regional Health System. As a member of our cath lab team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our cardiovascular program.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and operate imaging equipment during cardiovascular procedures to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to strict safety protocols to minimize risks and promote optimal patient outcomes.
Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
Serve as a preceptor for new staff members and contribute to the orientation process to ensure seamless integration into our team.
Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments and best practices.
Requirements:
Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
Certification in Cardiovascular Radiography (RCIS) or equivalent experience.
1+ year of experience in a procedural area, preferably in a cardiac cath lab setting.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
Compensation:
$27.84-$45.46 per hour based on previous work experience.
