Career Opportunity: Norman Regional Health System invites skilled professionals to join its team as a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist in the Cardiovascular Program.

About Us: Our institution is renowned for its commitment to workplace excellence, nestled at the southern border of the Oklahoma City metropolitan area. We have an innovative cardiovascular program and are seeking knowledgeable Registered Technologists to expand our services.

As we prepare to relocate to our new state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower, we will have three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms. Our team works closely with nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists.

- American College of Cardiology Chest Pain Center with PCI and Resuscitation Accreditation
- American College of Cardiology NCDR Registry Gold Award
- Women's Choice Award in Heart Care
- Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) Echo Accreditation
- American Association Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR) Accreditation

Responsibilities:

• Prepares equipment before and during procedures, maintaining a high level of precision and efficiency.
• Assesses patient conditions, ensuring proper positioning and care throughout the process.
• Establishes and maintains a sterile environment, adhering to strict protocols to ensure patient safety.

Qualifications:

• Completion of a 24-month formal Radiologic Technology program or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Registration from the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) as a RCIS.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) training, with ACLS certification required within six months of hire.

Compensation: $27.84-$45.46 per hour, based on previous work experience.
