Job Responsibilities Under the supervision of a pharmacist, you'll fill medication orders, pre-package medications, compound pharmaceuticals, refill stock supplies, deliver medication, and perform various clerical duties.
Qualifications To be successful, you'll need short-term training in pharmacy law, practices standards, terminology, pharmacy math, drug preparation, dosage forms, and trade/generic names. You'll also require Pharmacy Technician National Certification and an active New Mexico Board of Pharmacy License.
Education and Credentials You must have a High School Diploma or GED, as well as Pharmacy Tech-State of NM certification and Pharmacy Technician National Certification.
Salary Information The maximum salary for this position is up to USD $23.07/Hr.
