Ascendo Healthcare Staffing is a nation-wide staffing firm, and we are currently working with a highly reputable healthcare network in the Kerrville, TX area that is in urgent need of a highly seasoned *Physical Therapist*. This client is working with a real sense of urgency in order to fill this position, so they're willing to pay a premium rate to get a qualified candidate in ASAP.
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of anatomy and medical terminology, with experience in various settings including outpatient and inpatient care. A focus on discharge planning and collaboration with other healthcare professionals is essential to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
*Utilize knowledge of orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, and other relevant specialties to inform treatment strategies.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and facilitate discharge planning.
* Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatments, and progress notes in compliance with clinic policies.
* Stay current with advancements in physical therapy practices and participate in ongoing professional development.
*Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
* Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and various body systems.
* familiarity with orthopedics, geriatrics, and pediatrics is a plus.
* Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
* Commitment to providing high-quality patient care with empathy and professionalism.
