About the Role The Cardiovascular Imaging Specialist at Norman Regional Health System is responsible for preparing equipment, providing patient care, and maintaining a sterile environment during cardiovascular procedures. This role involves collaboration with cardiologists and electrophysiologists, and requires the ability to mentor new hires and students.
Responsibilities Prepares equipment before and during procedures, ensuring optimal functionality and safety.
Assesses patient condition and prepares, positions, and provides patient care as needed.
Maintains a sterile environment throughout the procedure, adhering to strict protocols and guidelines.
Serves as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, facilitating their integration into the team.
Promotes effective communication and collaboration among team members, including physicians and leadership.
Requirements Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent field.
Current certification in RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist).
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
One year of experience in a Cath Lab setting preferred.
Benefits Average hourly salary range: $35.46 - $56.25.
