The City of North Kansas is currently recruiting for the position ofFIREFIGHTER EMT / EMT-P / EMT-P STUDENTType: Full TimeSalary/Pay Rate: $20.97 to $34.28/hrSummary of DutiesResponds to both emergency and non-emergency situations and provides management and supervision for patient care and advanced life support care. Performs firefighting, hazardous material response, technical rescue response, fire safety presentations, fire code inspections, vehicle and equipment maintenance, and other related duties.Salary InformationBeginning salary is $67,442.88/yr for FF/Paramedic. FF/Paramedic students will begin at the FF/EMT salary for non-exempt shift work which is $58,993/yr. After Paramedic licensure, the FF/Paramedic will be paid at the Paramedic rate of $67,442.88/yr.EMT Applicants that are currently in Paramedic School are encouraged to apply but must be licensed as a Missouri EMT-Paramedic at completion of their class to continue employment.
