Explore top Missouri nursing jobs and healthcare opportunities today Job Details – Missouri Nursing Jobs Job Title: Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Assignment Location: Saint Charles, Missouri (63301) Employment Type: Travel Nursing Healthcare Setting: Critical Illness and Rehabilitation Hospital Shift: Night shifts, 12 hours each Hours per Week: 36 Assignment Duration: 13 weeks Openings Available: 5 Start Date: ASAP Estimated Weekly Salary: $1880 - $2020 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Missouri or compact state BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required prior to first shift ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required prior to first shift Minimum two (2) years of bedside clinical nursing experience ICU experience and clinical skills for LTACH (Long-Term Acute Care Hospital) preferred Med/Surg RN Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments for all patients within 8 hours of admission Develop and implement individualized care plans with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams Deliver direct patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in a timely manner Initiate discharge planning and patient education from the day of admission Communicate patient status changes to healthcare team members to ensure safety and continuity of care Supervise and guide Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and new staff Promote patient and employee safety by adhering to hospital policies and safety protocols Foster a positive unit environment through teamwork and participation in team-building activities Assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed after orientation Engage in ongoing professional development and continuing education for nursing excellence Ready to take your nursing career to the next level in Saint Charles, Missouri?
