About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Cook 1 to join our team at Sheraton Brentwood, TN. As a Cook , you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring that the highest quality of food is served to our guests. You will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure that all meals are prepared in a timely and efficient manner. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be essential to your success in this role. As a Cook , you will play a critical role in ensuring that our guests have an exceptional dining experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Culinary degree or certification
  • Experience working in a hotel or restaurant setting
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and standards
  • Ensure that all food is prepared in a timely and efficient manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
  • Assist with inventory and ordering of supplies
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure that all meals are prepared to the highest quality standards

Skills:

As a Cook, you will utilize your culinary skills and knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations to prepare and cook a variety of dishes. You will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure that all meals are prepared in a timely and efficient manner. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be essential to your success in this role.
