Systems Administrator

Responsibilities:
• Be the first point of contact for internal users by supporting them via ticketing system, phone, email and Teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly.
• Escalate complex issues to senior IT and engineering staff when necessary.
• Assist in managing user accounts, permissions, and passwords, especially for platforms like Active Directory, Office 365, etc.
• Configure new servers and services following established procedures and best practices.
• Perform routine system monitoring, backups, and basic maintenance tasks.
• Support the setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of hardware such as PCs, printers, mobile devices, etc.
• Assist in monitoring and maintaining local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) connections.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues and help maintain network security, including firewall configuration and VPN setup.
• Install, update, and support company-approved software.
• Assist with the deployment of applications, patches, and updates to systems.
• Maintain detailed records of support requests and resolutions in the help desk system.
• Participate in creating and maintaining IT documentation, policies, procedures, and user guides in line with best practices.
• Ensure smooth operation of all IT functions, including telephone and network connectivity for all company locations.
• Implement and maintain appropriate security measures, processes, and procedures to protect business assets.
• Manage controls and governance of technology platforms and ownership of policies and procedures relating to information technology.
• Participate in the selection, implementation, and management of 3rd party vendor relationships for information technology.• Demonstrable experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role in IT
• Proficiency in using Cisco Technologies
• Familiarity with Citrix Technologies
• Hands-on experience with Cloud Technologies
• Proficiency in Dell Technologies and Firewall Technologies
• Knowledge of AB Testing and Active Directory
• Experience with Backup Technologies
• Ability to perform Cluster Analysis
• Expertise in handling Computer Hardware
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred
• Relevant professional certifications will be considered as a plus.
