Our client is looking to add talent to their team to help with their growing needs. This is the chance to work with an established, and Global company to boost your skill set and contribute to a successful team They are looking for someone to apply their engineering knowledge to designs and assist with the development of major engineering projects.

The Controls Engineer will have the following responsibilities:
  • Complete Electrical Designs for projects
  • Creating electrical schematics, plc program logic, and electrical enclosure designs within the constraints determined by the given project, time, cost, performance
  • Responsible for the proper documentation of their work, including ECR’s, machine manuals, check lists, and others
  • Responsible for reporting the status of his or her project, and the engineering production schedule at each weekly meeting. If a problem occurs that requires immediate attention, it is the engineer’s responsibility to report to the department manager at that time
The ideal candidate will have the following skillset/experience:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, plus 4 to 5 years of related experience
  • Sound understanding of electrical design, schematics, and electrical codes in regard to machine tool design
  • Sound computer skills, Cad for Schematics is desirable
  • Experience with machine tool equipment, electrical design
  • Experienced PLC programmer. Omron, AB, and Siemens are desirable
  • Experienced HMI programmer
  • Experienced Robotics programmer. ABB and Fanuc are desirable
