Overview

We are looking for a Coordinator to manage our Repairable Asset Control (RAC®) service. RAC® is an on-site management service we offer our customers for their MRO parts and manufacture of obsolete/legacy components. The RAC Coordinator tracks the location and repair status of the customer’s repairable assets through close cooperation with key customer personnel and those of PSI. Other responsibilities will vary depending on location. Other duties may be required.

Responsibilities will include the following:

  • Cultivates a friendly & professionally cooperative relationship with key customer staff
  • Represents PSI and its interests in a professional and respectful manner
  • Searches for, identifies, and presents cost-saving opportunities to customers for consideration
  • Provides accurate measurements of current cost savings to customers & district manager
  • Initiates and follows the sequence of steps required for the repair of customer assets
  • Maintains accurate, detailed records regarding the status of customer’s repairable assets
  • Participates in relevant meetings with customer management when feedback regarding the RAC process is expected and/or needed
  • Works cooperatively with PSI sales personnel to ensure excellent customer service
  • Adheres to all procedures in accordance with established Quality Management Systems
  • Contacts key support staff via telephone, fax, or email, to clarify information and confirm shipping dates, and current status of repairable assets
  • Proposes potential enhancements to relevant systems as they are realized and when appropriate
  • Answers questions about services that include but are not limited to the price, shipment, handling, location, quantity, or quality of service with regard to repairable assets
  • Meets with customers to discuss services provided
  • Generates monthly cost-savings reports to the customer and PSI supervisors
  • Generates weekly reports to PSI supervisors outlining status of current issues
  • Provides verification of hours worked to supervisor via email at the beginning & end of work day

Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • MS Office Skilled User
  • Very Good Oral and Written Communication
  • Must be able to lift 35 lbs

Preferred Shills:

  • Previous experience in customer service, purchasing, clerical, warehousing, and/or manufacturing preferred
  • Experience working with a database
