Job Description

This role involves conducting internal audits of manufacturing processes, products, and procedures to support the quality team and manufacturing operations teams. Additionally, it ensures the proper implementation of ISO policies and procedures outlined in the documented quality system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with quality assurance, manufacturing operations, and inventory control teams
  • Conduct regular, in-process audits as assigned by the quality manager/supervisor or lead; participate in resolving quality-related issues
  • Verify that finished products, products in production, incoming materials, parts, assemblies, and test products conform to company standards; ensure corrective actions are taken for failed lots
  • Analyze and resolve work-related problems and communicate with the supervisor and assist colleagues in resolving similar issues
  • Document audit results and quality data in a database system
  • Develop and deliver training on process procedures, work instructions, and quality bulletins to departments undergoing audits and contribute to updates of these documents
  • Participate in special projects such as auditing, training other departments, or inspecting; report findings to management
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the supply chain quality policy and adhere to the company's good manufacturing practices

Requirements

To be considered, you should have:

  • Interpreting graph experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Basic arithmetic calculation skills
  • Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, brief messages, and memos

Desirable qualifications include:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong communication skills to present information to diverse groups
  • At least 1 year of quality assurance experience in manufacturing, packaging, or distribution facilities

Work Environment

This job requires:

  • Lifting up to 25 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • Adapting to hot or cold warehouse conditions

Estimated Annual Salary: $70,000-$90,000
