CNC Lathe Machinist

What to expect:

A well-established manufacturing company in Stevensville, Maryland is looking to hire a full-time CNC Lathe Machinist with a good understanding of all machine shop principles and thorough knowledge of cutting tools to join their manufacturing team. The CNC Lathe Machinist is responsible for setting up and operating multi-axis CNC lathes and both horizontal and vertical CNC machining centers.

 

Salary: $19.00 - $20.00, depending on experience

Work Location: Stevensville, Maryland

 

What you will get to do:

· Set up and operate a multi-axis CNC lathe and both vertical and horizontal CNC machining centers

· Use machine shop measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, scales, indicators, etc.

· Edit and troubleshoot programs

· Other duties as assigned

 

You will bring these qualifications:

Experience Level: Entry-Level Experience

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

· Ability to read drawings, schematics, sketches, and understand oral instructions

· Good understanding of all machine shop principles

· Experience with Fanuc, Haas, and Mazak controls a plus

· Working knowledge of end mills, drills, taps, slitting saws and cyclone mills

 

Schedule:  Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
