CNC Machinist

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at Maztech Industries. As a key member of our production and prototyping department, you will play a vital role in the development of advanced optical systems for military and commercial applications.

• Operate Haas CNC machines, including mills, lathes, grinders, band saws, and other equipment to produce high-quality parts with tight tolerances.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring efficient production workflows and minimizing downtime.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to develop custom fixtures and tools, and provide feedback on part designs to improve manufacturing processes.
• Participate in the selection of machine tools and shop equipment to optimize production efficiency.

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience operating Haas CNC machines, with a strong understanding of machining principles and safety protocols.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.
• Proficient with 3-axis machining of complex parts, and comfortable working with various measuring instruments for part inspections.

• Experience with CAD/CAM software and 5-axis CNC machining.
• Familiarity with metrology and quality control procedures.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
