Job DescriptionJob Description

REMOTE POSITION - The candidate will need to travel to GUAM periodically for a week or two. All associated expenses paid by the client.

Scope of work to include the following:

  1. Manage system infrastructure including, databases, testing computer equipment, firewalls, malware and other software and hardware.
  2. Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues that may arise.
  3. Monitor systems daily and respond to any security breaches or usability concerns.
  4. Review, test and deploy required system updates and patches
  5. Assist in integrating new applications and technologies into the current system.
  6. Enter, track, and update incident and changes in Change Management/Change Control system.
  7. Provide tier-3 support for team members and other support teams.
  8. Document and develop in-depth knowledge of company’s existing messaging IT architecture/infrastructure, and technology portfolio.
  9. Conduct research on emerging technologies in support of infrastructure development efforts, and recommend technologies that will increase cost effectiveness and infrastructure flexibility.
  10. Develop, test and execute benchmarks and milestones for infrastructure and systems performance levels. Monitor and report findings with results and submit recommendations for improvement.
  11. Identify, establish, set benchmarks and milestones of performance and routine health assessments on environments in response to GPA’s business user needs.
  12. Ensure the integrity and security of enterprise data on servers, computers and databases in accordance to GPA’s business needs and industry best-practices regarding privacy, security, and regulatory compliance.
  13. Assists with the performances of all system and application vulnerability scanning. Assists with monitoring and managing system updates for in scope security systems.
  14. Assists with the installation, configuration, recommends system hardware and software components.
  15. Ensures compliance with policies, procedures and standards
