Job Title: Senior System Administrator

 

About the Role:

The Senior System Administrator role at Maverc Technologies is a critical position that requires exceptional technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities. As a Senior System Administrator, you will be responsible for providing IT services that aid in protecting national security.

 

Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior System Administrator, you will be part of a dynamic team focused on providing IT services that aid in protecting national security. In this role, you will provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems. You will also manage IT system infrastructure and the processes related to these systems.

 

Responsibilities Include:

• Analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware, applications, and software integration.

• Configure and manage Unix and Windows operating systems

• Installs/loads/troubleshoot operating systems and software

• Maintain integrity of and configure network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• Active TS/SCI with required Polygraph.

• US Citizenship.

• 15 years of experience in System Administration in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

• Bachelor's degree in technical discipline. Four additional years' experience may be substituted for degree.

• IATII certification.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

• Must be reliable, professional, self-motivated, and enthusiastic.

 

Education:

Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related field.
