We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Fixed Asset Manager to oversee our organization’s fixed asset portfolio. This role will involve managing leases, capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects, depreciation schedules, financial reporting, and the administration of intangible assets. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to communicate effectively across departments.

Key Responsibilities Lease Management:

  • Oversee and manage lease agreements for fixed assets.
  • Ensure compliance with lease terms and conditions, including renewal and termination processes.
  • Collaborate with legal and procurement teams to evaluate and negotiate lease contracts.

CAPEX Project Management:

  • Coordinate and manage capital expenditure projects from initiation through completion.
  • Develop project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation plans.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with financial goals.
  • Depreciation Management:
  • Prepare and maintain depreciation schedules for fixed and intangible assets.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and tax regulations.
  • Perform periodic reviews and adjustments to asset values as necessary.

Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare and present fixed asset reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Collaborate with external auditors during audits related to fixed assets.
  • Intangible Asset Administration:
  • Manage the accounting and reporting of intangible assets, including patents, trademarks, and licenses.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards for intangible asset valuation and amortization.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities to enhance fixed asset management processes and systems.
  • Implement best practices for asset tracking, reporting, and compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master’s degree or CPA preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in fixed asset management or related finance roles.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and tax regulations related to fixed assets and leases.
  • Proficient in financial reporting and analysis tools; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
