Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. This position involves supporting the development, production, and delivery of advanced instrumentation systems.

This is a Contract to Perm opportunity offering professional growth within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply mechanical engineering expertise to support manufacturing operations.
  • Supervise and mentor team members as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to quality assurance standards, including AS9100 and AS9102 FAI.
  • Collaborate on PCB assembly and cable/harness manufacturing processes.
  • Utilize CAD software (e.g., CREO, AutoCAD, Visio) to design simple electrical/mechanical assemblies.
  • Contribute to the development of bills of materials (BOM) for cost proposals and labor analysis.
  • Maintain knowledge of manufacturing standards such as IPC-A-610 and IPC-WHMA-620.
  • Support sheet metal fabrication, machining techniques, welding, plating, and other finishing processes.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with PCB and cable/harness manufacturing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and working knowledge of electronic engineering principles.
  • Familiarity with QA principles and industry standards.
  • Basic knowledge of IPC standards and related manufacturing practices.
  • Supervisory experience is a plus.
