Manufacturing Engineer

DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Mechanical or Industrial Engineering industry. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the design, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing processes, ensuring that we achieve operational excellence and maintain high-quality standards. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that enhance productivity, reduce waste, and minimize production costs. Your expertise will be pivotal in selecting machinery and equipment, as well as in developing production layouts that maximize efficiency. Additionally, you will oversee the troubleshooting and root cause analysis of production issues, implementing effective corrective actions to address any problems that arise. You will also play a key role in maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations while continually seeking out opportunities for process improvement. If you are results-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced environment that values creativity and precision, we encourage you to apply and be part of a forward-thinking organization committed to excellence in manufacturing engineering.ResponsibilitiesDesign and optimize manufacturing processes to enhance production efficiency.Collaborate with product development teams to ensure manufacturability of new products.Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for production issues.Select and specify machinery and equipment for new manufacturing lines.Develop and maintain process documentation, including work instructions and SOPs.Monitor production performance and identify areas for improvement.Ensure compliance with industry safety and quality standards.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience in a manufacturing engineering role, preferably in a mechanical or industrial environment.Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.Proficiency in CAD software and other manufacturing tools.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with teams.Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance in manufacturing processes.Our History2006The Bedford NH office opens and Staff Hunters begins working with more and more clients in the greater Manchester marketplace.
