Leasing Agent; Newark, NJ

$60k-$70k DOE

As a Leasing Agent, you will be instrumental in promoting our upscale properties, assisting prospective residents, and ensuring a seamless leasing process. Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist prospective tenants in person, over the phone, and via email with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Conduct engaging property tours, showcasing features and amenities of available units.
  • Process rental applications and perform thorough background checks to ensure quality tenants.
  • Prepare and manage lease agreements and all related documentation efficiently
  • Maintain accurate records of inquiries, showings, and leasing activities in our database.
  • Collaborate with the property management team to address tenant concerns and requests promptly.
  • Stay updated on market trends and rental rates to negotiate leases effectively.
  • Assist with innovative marketing efforts to promote available properties and attract potential residents.

 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in leasing, sales, or customer service is required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a talent for building relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software.
  • Knowledge of fair housing laws and regulations is essential.
