Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will lead and oversee a maintenance team to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our facilities and equipment. This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you can utilize your expertise to make a meaningful impact.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Saturday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
  • Overtime available on Saturdays and Sundays at straight time rates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise maintenance activities for manufacturing lines, site buildings, and improvement projects.
  • Manage and train maintenance technicians, ensuring compliance with safety procedures.
  • Assign and oversee preventative maintenance tasks and coordinate external contractors/vendors.
  • Maintain compliance with safety regulations, including LOCKOUT/TAGOUT programs.
  • Inspect and maintain critical systems such as ammonia refrigeration and boilers.
  • Collaborate with the Plant Engineer/Maintenance Manager on process improvements and equipment projects.
  • Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for SQF Certification compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, fire, and safety codes by working with regulatory agencies.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in mechanical or electrical trades, with food manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of GMP, OSHA, and HAACP standards.
  • Technical expertise in maintenance areas, including electrical systems, PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, HVAC, and general building maintenance.
  • Physical ability to work in a 40&degree;F environment, perform tasks requiring lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Preferred Technical Experience:

  • Troubleshooting and repairing production equipment such as conveyors, mixers, and packaging machines.
  • Knowledge of refrigeration systems and process safety management.
  • Expertise in blueprint reading, welding, AC/DC drives, and vacuum packaging equipment.
